What's mine is mine, what's yours is...

Have you ever read the terms of service for Google Drive, Amazon S3, Dropbox, iCloud or the others? Can that be trusted? TERENA Trusted Cloud Drive pilot has been launched to make a difference. It builds on the principle of separating storage data from metadata and keeps the sensitive part in a trusted environment while the user's data sits in the cloud encrypted. So, storage cloud providers will not technically be able to "modify, communicate, publish, publicly perform, publicly display and distribute" your data as it is written in their policy. Are you interested in this... feel free to join! There are several ways to take part in this pilot. Five minutes will be enough to highlight these.
